Cathedral Avenue Caffeine (CAC) Open Mic

Cathedral Avenue Caffeine or CAC Open Mic is a poet/singer/songwriter open mic set in the intimate environment of Church Street Coffee and Books in Mountain Brook. It is a biweekly event occurring every other Monday, With the next one expected to take place on Monday April 1st, then April 15th at 7 pm.

This regular event strives to inspire, encourage and motivate both veteran and beginner writers and musicians to share their work at whatever stage it may be in the process. The founders Kanou Babèl and Catherine Fitzpatrick, partners in life; are progressively creating a space where a strong artistic community can organically sprout. The artists can gently bloom without the crowding of competition nor the impediment of stage fright. It is steadily growing into an environment for networking and where creative minds meet. Everyone is welcome, you should definitely try to catch a few Mondays this year.
